Doogee, sounds familiar? Nah, you don’t get to hear this name every day because it’s not that famous among people. There is a very high possibility that you might not have even seen anyone using a Doogee smartphone. Wait until you check out the specs on the BL12000 Pro smartphone. It might even make you think twice about buying your next OnePlus or Xiaomi smartphone.
Before we start bragging about this phone, let’s have a look at this brands history. Doogee was just a local smartphone brand in Spain until March 2013 when it caught the eye of an investor from China. After that, Xin Chao – the CEO of Shenzhen Kavid Communication Apparatus Co. Ltd. took charge of Doogee. Their main aim was to make great looking phones with great specs at lower prices. In Feb 2014, Doogee became the official sponsor of the famous Spanish football team Villareal C.F. It then unveiled its first custom smartphone DG 2014, Villareal C.F. Limited Edition. Come 2015, they expanded into the Southeast Asia market targetting Thailand and sponsored another famous football team in Malaysia. Its phone, the Valencia DG800 was also featured in one of the major Thailand magazines. Doogee has since then committed to expanding its operations globally and has experienced a more than 20% growth for 20 continuous months.
Too much of history, let’s get back to the present to the BL12000 Pro. This phone has a 6.0″ FHD bezel-less display with an 18:9 screen ratio. It has dual cameras 16+13 MP, a 2.5 GHz Helio P23 CPU and a 16 MP selfie camera. These specs are great considering the bezel-less trend going on right now and the dual cameras in fashion. However, there is that one specification that I’m yet to tell you about which is way above the rest top players in the smartphone industry. It has a colossal battery with a capacity of 12000 mAH. You heard that right, 12000 mAH, check the zeroes again. I was surprised myself that a phone with such a huge battery capacity even existed in today’s age. Wondering how long it’ll last you? According to Doogee, it’ll give you around 5 days of moderate use. It’s a huge battery, it might take hours to charge completely but no, the team at Doogee was smart enough to implement fast charge with 12V-3A. It takes only 4 hours to completely charge the phone, no that’s not too much considering the 12000 mAH it offers. To finish it off, it comes with 6GB of RAM and an option to choose between 64 or 128 gigs of storage. It’s also double-faced in glass and Doogee made sure that it remains grippy.
Phew, I’m tired already but here’s a tip, go to Doogee’s website and you’ll see that they have other smartphones with battery capacities as high as 7000 and 5000 mAH.
